Drywall taping is the major factor in the final look of your newly constructed walls. If an inexperienced hand attempts to finish their own drywall the end result of their walls will most likely be bumpy, ridged and uneven.

TM Drywall’s Three Coat System (Simplified):

First Coat

The first coat focuses on covering up the tape coat previously installed with a Bazooka. It is applied to the wall using what’s commonly referred to as a mud box. When applying mud, our professionals are only equipped with the highest quality compound and professional grade tools, specific for this process.

Second Coat

After the first coat is completely dry, the second coat can be added. This consists of going over all of the compound previously applied with another, larger mud box. Our up to date technique is crucial for maintaining a fast paced work environment from one home to the next. It also helps to have years of experience, which our crew has.

Third and Final Coat

After the second coat has dried the final coat is truly a work of art. This process takes a great deal of blending, smoothing and sanding to ensure a perfect finish, but our services don’t have to stop there! We can also paint the walls or texture the ceilings for a truly professional finish.
